With BMW Motorrad, owning a motorcycle is just the beginning. Ably assisted by its partners, BMW offers a truly comprehensive range of activities, training, travel and adventures for owners and enthusiasts to experience. Put simply, World of BMW is your passport to adventure!
Whatever your tastes, your ambitions, your ability or your plans, we’ve got the perfect package for you. You don’t have to own a BMW to get involved, and in many cases we’ll supply a BMW Motorcycle to ride – and we have a range of hire bikes available for other activities. On behalf of BMW Rider Training, BMW Off Road Skills, BMW Tours and BMW Track Activities, we wish you the very best for 2013 and look forward to you joining us in the World of BMW!
From taking your first step and getting your CBT on a 125cc learner motorcycle, to passing your test on a BMW adventure-sports bike; BMW Rider Training is here to help. And once you’ve passed your test with us, we have a range of ‘further training’ courses to help you hone your skills and techniques to the very highest level of riding possible – the RoSPA Gold certification.
Dakar legend Simon Pavey’s BMW Off Road Skills is the ideal environment to discover the benefits of off-road riding. But what’s in it for a road rider? Aside from being great fun (and it is!), it helps build up machine control skills, boosts confidence and even helps keep you fit and in good shape – all of which are extremely useful for road riding, too.
When you book a BMW Tour, we take away all the stress, leaving you to concentrate on the fun! All you need to worry about is turning up at the port with your bags and bike. And new for 2013 are a range of incredible fly-and-ride adventures, where you’ll be able to explore some of the most incredible parts of the world on a BMW adventure-sports motorcycle – without any of the hassle.
BMW Motorrad’s award-winning S 1000 RR supersport bike has been a triumph on track, taking the 2010 BSB-EVO title as well as winning the 2010 and 2011 Superstock 1000 Championships. BMW Motorrad UK has run a number of track activities for owners and fans of the S 1000 RR & HP4 including track days, circuit-based test rides and on-track training.
Ideally suited for those who take part in organised or regular ride-outs, plan to travel and tour in more remote areas, or simply looking to brush up, on or learn some new First Aid skills. This one-day course is First Bike On Scene accredited – which is the officially recognised safety standard for motorcycle First Aid. The course covers the core elements of first aid – teaching the best and safest way to deal with most situations.
Please note: This training programme is solely organised and operated by an independent third party partner company. BMW Motorrad does not take any responsibility in connection to the organisation and operation of these programmes.
